TGE: Tonight was the first episode of The Office sans Steve Carell and without guest superstar Will Ferrell: just the permanent remaining cast on their own. Although "Dwight K. Shrute, Acting Manager" was (mostly) entertaining, I couldn't escape the feeling that this episode, like last week's, was more filler than anything else, biding time until the big season finale and the revelation of Carell's replacement. Do I feel this way merely because I am excited for the next week's celebrity-binge and anxious about whom the next Michael Scott will be?
This was an amazing episode, what a rebound from last weeks. Dwight running the office was awesome.
Solid episode. Like the reviewer mentions, I was also worried that they were actually gonna shoot Andy. That would have been terribly stupid and an epic shark jump.
Glad it's working out for all of you. Sounds like it's going in the right direction.
