Entertainment Focus - Review: Attack The Block

As a group of local kids attack a helpless woman walking home from work, a strange meteor crash lands in their housing estate. They soon take out their aggression on the creature lurking within the meteor and end up killing it. Revelling in their success they parade around the corpse of their latest victim not realising what they’ve started. The creature killed was only a young version of a far bigger, meaner and more dangerous alien race landing all across the housing estate. Soon South London is on high alert as the aliens run amok. It seems our only hope are the kids from the estate hell bent on taking back their block, no matter what.

Since making its debut at the SXSW festival back in March 2011, Attack the Block has garnered a cult following with its tale of Brit hood teens VS man eating alien invaders winning acclaim worldwide.
