THR: Steven Spielberg is rounding out the large cast of his Abraham Lincoln biopic, DreamWorks' Lincoln.
Tommy Lee Jones and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, along with Hal Holbrook, James Spader, John Hawkes, Tim Blake Nelson, Bruce McGill and Joseph Cross are in negotiations to join the pic.

Such a ridiculously awesome cast (though many of the names are rumored at this point). Daniel Day Lewis is gonna blow our mind with his portrayal of Lincoln. With Levitt who is one of my favorite contemporary actors and Spielberg behind the camera, you know this movie is gonna be superb.
I agree...you couldn't have a better cast or director for it. There was a time I didn't like Daniel Day Lewis until I saw Last of the Mohicans. I don't know if it was the acting or the film itself with the sound track that got to me but now I see him in a different light. I know he'll do the role justice.
Last time I saw Daniel Day Lewis was on the Sunset Limited, he's such a good actor.
I'm sure they will make a great movie. Sounds like a great cast.
