This Week on Netflix Instant: May 2-8

CPC:
After a somewhat confusing week last week where Netflix changed some things up last minute, I’m back with another week of what (hopefully) will be releasing on Netflix Instant this week. This week’s lineup includes featured releases such as Contact, Kick-Ass, Mortal Kombat, Austin Powers in Goldmember and The Thomas Crown Affair (the original).

I think I'm going to have to invest in Netflix. Aside from the newer movies that you can watch and the season series you can catch up on.....look at the first day May 2.....The Thomas Crown Affair with Steve McQueen was the best. I so appreciated the ending in that version then the one done by Pierce Brosnan later. Then there is Harold and Maude. If you haven't seen this, you need to. Ruth Gordon is wonderful in this movie and the story is wonderful...hysterical in some ways and sad in others.

I never see these movies come out on regular tv anymore...they are some of the classics.

It's worth it all day long. I've been a subscriber for about a year and a half. All the great indie/foreign films I've discovered through Netflix ensure my continued support for it.

Meh, not a lot going on this week for me. Guess I'll finally get around to seeing Kick-Ass, but aside from that I don't think there's anything new I'll watch on streaming. Ok maybe The Shadow. I haven't seen that since it was out in theaters in the 90's.

I'll probably wait until fall now to subscribe. I'm not home so much in the summer if I can help it. As long as I feel okay I try to get outside and get a little sunshine or at least play with the dog or work in they yard.

I find Netflix is extremely worth if for nothing else but their streaming service alone. Always something to watch. I still have almost 300 movies in my Instant Queue to get around to watch. Not to mention all the other good movies on there that I've seen before and know I enjoy and am always happy to go back and rewatch.

Their library of indie movies and older classics makes a very nice addition as well as you can go back and watch classics or you can find obscure movies you've never heard of (and otherwise would never have a chance to watch) that prove to be real gems.
