Exclusive Video Interview: Mark Ruffalo on The Avengers

Mark Ruffalo is set to make his directing debut with April 29th's Sympathy for Delicious. Written by and starring Christopher Thornton, Ruffalo's longtime friend, the film tells the story of a recently paralyzed DJ who winds up becoming an unlikely faith healer.

Ruffalo and Thornton (who is disabled in real life) spoke with SuperheroHype sister site ComingSoon.net about the project and, while we'll be running the full video interviews closer to the film's release, have available now the video of Ruffalo discussing his next project, Joss Whedon's The Avengers.

I didn't have any glaring issue with Ruffalo taking over in therole of BruceBanner/Hulk but the more I think about it the more I think this was a good choice. That's not to say that I have any issue with how Edward Norton did the part - Quite the contrary but I think he, as an actor, almost takes all the air out of the room so to say and with a cast as big as this you kinda want everyone to be on a level playing field.
