Oh, good. ^_^ I can't wait to see it!

I think I'll have to check this out sometime. It seems so odd knowing how crazy Mel Gibson is and then seeing he's cast in some crazy (literally) role, but it does seem interesting.

Yeah I thought that was oddly fitting as well. I've always liked his acting roles and thought he did great in whatever he played...I just hate that he went off the deep end personally.

This is looking like it could be the indie hit of the year possibly. I enjoy Gibson as an actor. I also loved Foster's first directing job: Little Man Tate.

I don't think I'd go that far (there are tons of great indie films that come out through the year), but it hopefully it'll do better with the mass audiences than it did at SXSW.

Mel has always been a good actor; Braveheart is one of my favorite films of all time can’t wait to see his next movie…

Most of his movies are really good, even the last Lethal Weapon, and I hope that we are able to see more of him. Personally I thought Ransom was one of his best.

The Beaver Blu-Ray Review - Boolean Flix

It’s been well documented that Mel Gibson isn’t the most accepting of individuals, and has lost many fans because of it. Myself included. I decided to try to put my feelings for him aside and have an open mind for his appearance in The Beaver, especially as I was interested in seeing how he would fair in a sea of audiences that don’t especially like him. Although it wasn’t as I expected it to be, I wasn’t entirely disappointed.

Director: Jodie Foster

‘You’re nothing without me, Walter. Nothing. I’m the only part of you that works.‘

After two years of severe depression, toy executive Walter Black retreats completely and begins communicating with his long-suffering family through a glove puppet. Meanwhile, his estranged elder son fights to avoid becoming his father.

Having been trapped in limbo for over a year, waiting for the dust to settle on Mel Gibson’s public meltdown, The Beaver is finally released into the world. And it’s hard to imagine a more fitting role for Gibson to have chosen, even if it was chosen and performed before the event.
