Oliver (Craig Roberts - Jane Eyre) is an awkward 15 year-old struggling to find his place in the world. He’s convinced his father, a university lecturer, is passively depressed whilst his mother seems to be interested in rekindling an old romance with her next-door neighbour Graham (Paddy Considine – My Summer of Love). Amid this chaos Oliver has fallen in love with a wayward girl named Jordana (Yasmin Paige - The Sarah Jane Adventures) who likes burning things and is dealing with her own family problems. Can Oliver win the heart of Jordana whilst saving his own family dynamic?
Each Monday, film fan and champion of the downtrodden Jordan Sims picks out an overlooked gem or unfairly maligned masterpiece – and gives them the spotlight they so dearly deserve.
