Dwayne McDuffie, the writer of the All-Star Superman animated adaptation and some of the greatest episodes of the Justice League Animated Series, has died. He is a giant of superhero animation and a highly respected comic book writer, having written iconic characters at both DC and Marvel, including Superman, Justice League of America, and Fantastic Four. McDuffie is the creator of the Milestone imprint which was published by DC in the 1990s. Perhaps you know Milestone's most famous character, Static, who McDuffie brought to Warner Bros. animation in the popular animated superhero show, Static Shock.

All-Star Superman is one of the best DC animated films to come out in some time. If you’re a fan then you owe it to yourself to snatch up the Blu-ray. Here’s hoping that DC and Warner Bros commission more of the “All-Star” line.
I started watching this the other night but it was getting late - What I saw was really freakin good. DC/WB know how to make an animated feature.
I was watching an early glimpse of thiss on a streaming service, and i didnt like the design of Supermans face. He has huge lips and it bugs the hell outta me.
All-Star Superman is one of the best DC animated films to come out in some time. 7/10
That must mean all past Superman movies suck.
When I say that all Super man movies suck, I meant because there have been movies that have gotten better scores than a 7 and this movie is claimed to be one of the best.

This is too bad. He looks so young to be gone already. I've heard incredible things about this movie and am now looking to get it.
Wow....might have to go pick up the movie just for him then. I was a huge fan of his Justice League episodes.
