Donnie Darko Director's Next

IGN: Corpus Christi, the new thriller from Darko Entertainment to be produced by respected industry veterans Eli Roth, Sean McKittrick and Richard Kelly, has finally come into its own with the announcement that the project has a director: none other than Kelly, one of the partners at Darko Entertainment itself, who also penned the script for the modern era thriller. Oh, and he's also the guy who made Donnie Darko.

I'll definitely have to keep an eye on this one. I really liked Donnie Darko. I also liked Domino which Kelly wrote. And Southland Tales was another interesting one. Though I didn't really care for The Box that he did.

I heard for years how amazing Donnie Darko was and when I finally watched it I was bored out of my mind. I think I made it like 30 minutes in and then completely forgot about watching the rest.

I should eventually try and finish it just to see what the fuss is about.

I wouldn't ever call it "amazing" per se. But I did indeed enjoy it.

It's really one of those twisted movies that you're probably going to have to watch at least a few times before you really appreciate it. Undoubtedly, after just the first time, you're going to be more like...."umm....what?!&qu ot; lol

I loved Donnie Darko! All around me are familiar faces, worn out places, worn out faces...

Gary Jules made the it sound soo much better than the original.
