I like the knife tip on the mask, thats pretty sweet. I was kinda hoping they would try something differnt in their marketing approach, but then again why fix something that isn't broken?
I remember when the first scream had come out and everyone wanted to have the mask for Halloween that year. I remember I had the bloody one. It was so cool.
Big issue is that rumors suggest it may be a mess. There are reports of massive reshoots, Craven bristled at that and called them additions such as extended scenes or adding gore. Bottom line, while reshoots are common on films, adding and extending scenes after test screeners can be a bad sign as usually this is done while editing the final cut when continuity issues or flow improvements are discovered.
I don't know that this is actually a teaser poster. I mean we already got a teaser poster several weeks ago. Wouldn't this just be 'the' poster? Who knows. Either way I'm digging the look. Kind of corny but also very cool. I still have high hopes for this movie despite the early looks saying it's crap.
Its Scream, it basically re-invented Slasher and gave Slasher a namebrand. I doubt it will be anything more lol.
I think this film is gearing towards modernizing slashers though, so you could be on to something there. Like high tech killing or whatever could become a new trend, instead of straight on killing people with knives.
Well if you stick with the same thing then you end up boring people to death like Activision does with video games.
If you are going to "remake" something you are putting your own twist on it, otherwise why remake it. lol I didnt like Nightmare on Elm street at all, it was absolutely terrible and ruined the name completely. I honestly have never walked out of a movie so angry, was on the verge of asking for my money back.
Hmm...I'm not saying it's not a teaser, just seems odd to have a second teaser poster. Why can't they just be posters at this point. I got the PR email too, but I must have glanced over the teaser part of it. Oh well, guess I've never seen the point of a teaser poster (it's just a damn poster), but that's what the marketing people are up to!
Teaser or not, I think the it looks awesome! I'm surprised they haven't used and image of a mask into a knife for any previous movies it just fits so well!
Ah nice I love Scream movies. I wander will all the original characters come back for all three flicks? They said they wouldn't do anymore after Scream 3!

I wonder if this'll just be another slasher or if they have plans to make it serve a purpose.
This was sent by the pr firm for the film and they called it Teaser 2.
