With Arnold Back To Acting, Suitors Circle 'Terminator'

Deadline:
Shortly after Arnold Schwarzenegger left the Governor’s Mansion and Tweeted his desire to resume his acting career, there seems to finally be some action on his signature franchise, The Terminator. I’m told that interest is kicking back up. One interested party: Universal, which is looking for a directing vehicle for Justin Lin. He helmed the last three installments of The Fast and the Furious franchise, including the latest Fast Five, which Universal releases April 29.

I want it to be like the third Terminator. It was my favorite one and the only one I can watch over and over and not get bored of. The latest one was absolutely terrible. Bales worst performance I've seen and the overall movie was nothing but visual effects combined with a dull story.

Nah, the original kicks all other asses. I liked the fact that the terminator was made out to be the bad guy and that he was this unstoppable beast that no one could stop. Plus, that pulse pounding music and catch phrases made it even better.

I don't really want anymore Terminator movies... think of a new vehicle to put Arnold behind.

I actually kind of liked Terminator Salvation. I liked the idea of setting it in that time period. It could have been executed better, but on the whole I enjoyed it. T3...not so much.

Honestly I would rather Arnold not come back to the Terminator franchise. The series needs to go into a newer direction, a fresher take that moves forward.

Like the TV shows were going but never got the chance to get to.

I really hated Terminator Salvation. It kind of made the movie seems so apart from the original 3 movies that I thought I was watching a different doomsday movie.

Doomsday? This Doomsday? http://www.imdb.com/title/t...

I really liked that film.

Sunny_D4814d ago

Nah, jut like any ol' Doomsday movie that are generic run of the mill.

Ah ok lol just making sure.
