The Rite is the latest film to take on exorcisms and religious tones. Unfortunately for any film on that topic, it will immediately be compared to the granddaddy of them all, The Exorcist. Fair or not, that’s the way it is and it happens all the time. The Rite stars Sir Anthony Hopkins as Father Lucas Trevant, a Welsh priest living in Rome who deals with the side of Christianity most believers do not want to believe in.
I was hoping that this would be good. I guess I'll skip this then.
