So, we have finally closed the book on 2010. Now, as we transition into the new year, this is when most people reflect back on the year before. In the movie world, this is also when critics and movie lovers take the time to review the past year. Not to mention, this is awards season. Nice list JL. Seems that you and I have alot of the same tastes but I still haven't seen Black Swan. Guess I should put that on my list of things to get out to one of these days.

As for your most under appreciated movie of the year, I'm right on board with you about KickAss. That movie was just an insanely entertaining flick that it's ranked as one of my 2010 best movies.

Thanks. Glad to know we seem to have a real similar taste in movies. That means you have good taste :D lol

But yea, if you have a similar taste as me, then Black Swan you definitely should give a shot. It's an intelligent and entertaining thriller.

And yea, Kick-Ass was fun as hell. Can't wait for the sequel. In the comic-book/superhero realm of movies, it was a refreshing and entertaining movie. I'd have to say it was one of my favorites of the year. At least in the top 15, probably.

My father who enjoys just about any type of movie wasn't interested in Kick-Ass because he thought it was a kids flick. When I explained to him it was the most violent and profanity laced super hero movie ever made he took notice and watched it. He even enjoyed it thoroughly though the 8yr old girl dropping a "C-Bomb" was a little shocking for him.

lol I bet. The movie does catch you off-guard. It definitely turns out to be much more graphic and offensive, etc than one might think when just seeing "superhero movie". But yea, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
