Top DVD/Blu-ray Sales and Rentals for the Week Ending December 19, 2010

Rentrak has announced last week’s most rented and highest-selling movies. In sales, Despicable Me came in to unseat Eclipse as the animated feature took over the first spot as highest-selling movie in it’s debut week on DVD and Blu-ray. This is no surprise after reports earlier of the movie doing so well. Eclipse didn’t fall far though as it still holds second place in its third week of release. Meanwhile, Toy Story 3 continues to sell well as it manages to land at number 7. That makes almost two months straight now that the release has been out and in the top ten.
