I'm glad that the RED cameras are starting to get so much attention. They are great cameras, yet at the same time, I'm not really excited about 3D being easier and easier for filmmakers to use. It's a gimmick I really wish would go away. Who knows, maybe an easier solution will lead to better uses for it.
