Ummm....do we really need this movie?

Soldierone4930d ago

Why not? Easy money, just like Hannah Montana. Not seeing it isn't gonna do anything. All the blind 14 year old girls are gonna be the ones seeing it.

darklordzor4930d ago

Yeah it's definitely going to make a ton of money...but I don't get the point of having a movie about his 'journey' when he's barely old enough to have one yet. Just seems too soon.

Soldierone4930d ago

There isn't a point, its purely to put his name on a movie ticket and get people to pay to see it. Which will happen. There is nothing else to it.

darklordzor4929d ago

I just don't see the point of having all this for a kid star who might not even make it once puberty really kicks in. I'm not rooting against the kid or anything but child stars don't have the best reputation for making it.

Soldierone4929d ago

Well they usuelly cycle them. Our generation was whats his name that did I Love candy. Once he disapeared someone else took his place and now we are stuck with Justib Bieber for the current generation. The indutsry will milk him to they cant anymore, then move on to another kid.

Its sad, but thats how it works. There will be no opportunity to do this film in the future because he will fade with a year or two. You can tell other stars like Taylor Swift are here to stick around though.

darklordzor4929d ago

Exactly my point. That would be a much more engaging film for everyone. His rise AND his fall, though I guess Disney wouldn't be too keen on a story like that.

I dont know whats worse, this or Hannah Montana. However i hope the money is used for a better project in the future.

darklordzor4930d ago

I think they will both be about the same amount of awful.

Soldierone4930d ago

Yeah, just wondering where the money will go. right after Hannah Monatan, Disney released a few good films.

darklordzor4929d ago

Well Disney always has tons of good films, but they do these things in order to appeal to the other side of their fan base. I can't say I blame them though. They've got Tron coming up, more PIxar films and the next Pirates of course.

Soldierone4929d ago

Well I mean Hannah Montana was used to fund other projects in a more indie style genre like High School Musical and what not. Not those major motion pictures they have.

As for the other thing that what im saying above haha
