First Look at Uwe Boll's Next Film - Blubberella: The World's First Female Fat Superhero

The Master of Crap himself, director Uwe Boll (House of the Dead, Bloodrayne) is about to unleash his next mysteriously-funded project onto the world, and like much of what we've come to expect from him, one clearly designed to offend and stir the pot. Titlted Blubberella, the tag-line says its about "The first female fat superhero ...She will kick major ass - with her major ass ..."

Good at least he didn't get his hands on something else im interested in lol. There was only one movie I enjoyed of his, Rampage. However it had no point to it, but a really good twist at the end. It was literally nothing but a dude killing a bunch of people non-stop haha.

Kiri4925d ago

Well ya? The thing is... she's gonna kick ass because of the uniqueness and the current exclusivity. A fat female hero is 1) unexpected, 2) will not appear again since anything succeeding it would be a copy.

Soldierone4925d ago

"Will not appear again since everything will be a copy"
No it wont appear again because its a stupid idea that isn't gonna do well to begin with. Especially with Uwe Boll at the healm. Like I said I'm glad he decided to work with crap, so he doesnt turn quality into crap.

darklordzor4925d ago

Ha! Just what I was thinking, just glad you said it. It's just a terrible idea, and shouldn't have even gotten this chance to get made.

darklordzor4925d ago

Ha! That's a good point. As long as he keeps busy doing something else and equally miserable, then at the least he can't touch and projects people are actually looking forward to.

darklordzor4925d ago

Wow! Wow! That's all I can really think of saying. Who in the world keeps giving him money? Oh this just sounds awful, and not the least bit offensive. Seriously, I can't see how this would be appealing to anyone. The idea of a fat superhero isn't exactly new, but it's mostly used as a joke that the other heroes laugh about. Hard to kick a lot of ass and be somewhat believable when your sucking wind and breathing hard to chase down bad guys.

I guess I shouldn't get too upset though...it's not like anyone is going to see it.

Soldierone4925d ago

It will be a comedy, or at least attempt to be one. Thats why its borderline offensive. It will be nothing more than all the Tyler Perry movies.

darklordzor4925d ago

Attempt is the key word there. Anything Boll does is an attempt, then when it comes out, it's a failed attempt.

LOL. What's wrong with Tyler Perry, he has at least one good one?

Soldierone4925d ago

All his movies, shows, etc...are exactly the same and nothing differnt. I dont think any of them are funny at all.

JL4925d ago

Yea I don't care for Tyler Perry either. Never got the huge appeal of his work.

JL4925d ago

Seriously, has he ever made a good movie? How this guy continues to receive funding I'll never know.

Though....I am mildly interested in seeing more from his Auschwitz movie.

darklordzor4925d ago

It's a question that really keeps me up at night. How can so many great filmmakers, and people with real talent never get picked up, yet Boll continues to find people willing to throw money away at him.

JL4925d ago

What boggles me even more: As far as I know, EVERY single one of his movies have lost money. Some of them losing LOTS of money. Who in the world does this guy having hiding in his corner?

Soldierone4925d ago

Obviously he is a good sweet talker and can upsell his own ideas haha.

darklordzor4925d ago

That's the thing though, I don't think he is. He's a rude person by all accounts, and even if he could sweet talk people, his reputation by now should be putting an end to that. It truly is mind boggling.

JL4925d ago

Exactly @dark. This guy is a prick if there's ever been one. Seriously, go look up interviews with him or something like that. He is the rudest, most full of himself person I've ever heard. He'll talk crap about somebody like Bay or Roth and then turn around and talk like he's god's gift to cinema. I can't even remember how many times I've heard of him calling other people in the industry "retards"...or any critic that has anything negative to say about one of his movies.

Soldierone4925d ago

Check out Rampage, its the only quality movie I've seen of his. Its actually a fun movie to watch if you enjoy action.

Garethvk4925d ago

Uwe is a good guy, I have met and interviewed him many times. As he told me once, they want F***ing Schindlers List, its a 12 million film about Zombies.
