VG247: "Did you think we were going to get some crappy tie-in for World of Warcraft with Sam Raimi at the realm? This is Blizzard we’re talking about.
Blizzard loremaster Chris Metzen just gave a status update on the WoW movie at a Blizzcon panel, saying it’s held meetings with Raimi about the flick and its story."
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Actually the fact that you said Sam Raimi and Blizzard in the same sentance made me beleive this will be nothing more than a cash cow game tie in, that has nothing more than the name on it.
Sure it wont be liked by fans, and to be honest you could try your absolute hardest and fans will still nit pick and destroy the film.
I am highly against this movie. Sure it's a great game, but the problem is, no fan would ever be satisfied with it. The best way to make fans happy for a WoW movie, would be to have Blizzard make it, totally in CGI. That's what would make the masses happy. Instead they're more than likely going to something half-baked from the studios. I have faith in Sam Raimi, but he's got so much on plate right now, would this really get the attention it deserves?
