Another thing I think they should of left alone and let be a classic. I hate when Hollywood digs up classics and tries to continue the story, because they try to have that same feel but in the end it only comes out to be generic.

What do you mean exactly? It's not like they're remaking it or anything, I'm pretty sure this is just a bonus thing that'll be on the new Blu-ray trilogy.

According to my film professor, they are in talks to continue the series much like they did with Ghostbusters and I want it to be left alone.

The Blu-ray release is just like a test to see if people are still interested in it, I think.

Oh yeah, they've been talking about that for a while, but nothing has really come of it. And the Ghostbuters movie hasn't even really been final yet. Dan Akroyd says he's working on the script but Bill Murray is still saying he won't do it. At this point no one is sure what's going to happen with it.

I don't think Back to the Future needs a sequel, and I think most of the talk right now is coming from all of the hype over it's 25th anniversary. I think that'd be a very poor decision.

I thought Ghostbusters was being made and they were going the route of having younger people as new Ghostbusters in it with the other guys being the mentors? So Bill Murray, while amazing, could easily be pushed aside if they truly wanted to do it.

I always love going back to these older films that gave us a futuristic setting and time period and how they thought the world might look like then. Now that we're getting to the times these movies talk about it's interesting to see how off everyone was. Still it's always fun to think of what might happen next and when we'll finally see hover cars.

Yeah, we were supposed to be flying and living in capsules by 2000. What happened people! you are slacking! haha

However I like visiting movies like this just because they are truly classics. That and the ride at Universal is friggin sweet haha.

Yeah, I love it when they're wrong in the films. Look at Terminator. The Judgement day with robots taking over should have already happened by now. And I won't even get into how wrong Escape from New York was.

Soldierone4932d ago

Dude I love the Escape movies haha. I like MGS and I understand that the Escape movies make it nearly impossible to see an MGS film, but they are so fun to watch. People think im stupid because I like them, but I do haha. I dont know what it is about them, but I own Escape from LA and New York .
