50 Cent's Cheetah Vision Films Lands $200 Million In Funding For 10-Picture Deal

Thisis50: "50 Cent has just completed a deal for his film company that will give it $200 million dollars to fund a 10-picture deal.

Cheetah Vision Films, Randall Emmet and George Furla's Hedge Fund Partners have signed off on a deal that will allow 50 to expand his ever growing film resume.

Healthcare magnate Richard Jackson, real estate developer Gary Sakwa and Daniel Ret will provide the equity remainder of the fund. Grindstone/Lionsgate will distribute the films."

Wow, in order to get funding like that, he must have some ideas they liked. That's not too shabby, but what's funny is you see individual films, with budgets that totally dwarf $200 million, but he's only getting it for 10 films. In the grand scheme of things, it's awesome for him that he got the funding, but spread out over 10 films, it'll go very quickly.
