JPP - The problem with The Human Centipede is that there’s nothing you can say about it to in any way augment the experience of watching it. As a horror movie, it is almost totally without subtext, and the plotline never really does anything to advance the basic premise (the worst of which you’ve heard is almost certainly true). But you can gain quite a lot by evaluating different reactions to it, and then comparing it to your own. The gimmick in Centipede is grotesque enough (and the movie never shies away from it), but it's the execution of it that defies comparison to anything you’ve ever seen before.
