The film, based on the Bard's final play, stars Helen Mirren as the Prospera (replacing the traditionally male Prospero), a sorceress who rules over a magical island and its shipwrecked captives. The film also stars Russell Brand, Chris Cooper, Alan Cumming, Djimon Honsou, Felicity Jones, Alfred Molina, David Strathairn and Ben Whishaw.
