Tom Felton, who is best known for playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, is joining Kate Mara in an untitled indie focusing on the true story of Iraq War hero Megan Leavey.
Gabriela Cowperthwaite, the helmer behind the documentary Blackfish, is directing the drama that centers on Leavey, a Marine in a K9 bomb sniffing unit in Iraq, and the bond with her dog, Rex. They served two six-month tours and undertook over 100 missions before a detonation wounded them both.
