Risky Business:
As far as famous historical sites go, Galveston, Texas, doesn’t make most tourists’ itineraries.
But the Gulf Coast city, which sits on a flat island just southeast of Houston, has a tragic claim to fame that screenwriter Daniel Sussman and producer Polly Johnsen plan to dramatize for the big screen. Warner Bros. has purchased Sussman’s original script “Galveston,” about the deadliest natural disaster in American history.
Skewed and Reviewed had lots of good things to say about the gory new film that has lots of surprising humor.
Love Forever Review: The movie has some adorable moments, some humour, and a nice, fuzzy conclusion but nothing new that will make it memorable.
