Fused Film states: Back in December of 2008, we heard a story that Baz Luhrmann wanted to re-adapt The Great Gatsby for the big screen. Production Weekly is now updating the project for the first time mentioning on Twitter some rumors of the amazing cast he might be putting together. Apparently Leonardo DiCaprio is up for Jay Gatsby, Tobey Maguire for Nick Carraway and Amanda Seyfried for Daisy Buchanan.
