Emily Blunt has joined the cast of Rian Johnson's time travel film, Looper.
Blunt, who next appears in Gulliver's Travels and The Adjustment Bureau, will act alongside Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
The early screenplay was described as "really violent and dark" by Johnson during a Brothers Bloom edit bay visit in 2008 and, according to more recent reports, will deal with a group of hitmen who receive their assignments from the future. Blunt is said to play a single mother whose son becomes a target.
