On Screen Review: Case 39

Emily Jenkins (Renee Zellweger) is a social worker on the brink of giving up on the world. She decides to give herself one last chance at helping someone when she picks up a strange case of a child demonized by her parents.

Lillith (Jodelle Ferland) seeks refuge in the arms of her new "mother", but she soon reveals her true nature.

The plot is cliche and the execution second rate. This won't cause sleepless nights, and proves a tasteless venture for an oscar winning actress who's done little for her career of late.
