Steve Carell voices the character of Gru in the Universal Studios 3D animation feature.
Gru is, amongst his peers, a second rate villain who hopes to one day steal the moon. In order to do so he'll need to nab a shrink ray, but his arch nemesis Vector (Jason Segal) isn't going to make it easy for him.
Joining the cast is Julia Andrews as Gru's Mother and Russell Brand as Dr Nefario.
