Ex-Agent Mike Eisner Joins Hasbro Studios

Former WME agent Mike Eisner has joined Hasbro Studios as SVP legal and business affairs. Eisner left WME in December after a nine-year stint as VP and literry agent at the agency and WMA before that. He oversaw a number of film and TV deals and helped negotiate client Hasbro Studios’ multi-picture pact with Universal Pictures. From 1992-01, Eisner served as VP business affairs and literary agent, at ICM. Earlier in his career, Eisner worked as counsel for Carolco Pictures.

Hasbro Confirms Transformers 5, 6, 7 And 8 Live Action Movies

TFW 2005: You’ve read from us, the fate of Transformers: Robots In Disguise animated series. On the article, we’ve mentioned a Keynote speech by Stephen Davis; Hasbro’s executive vice president and chief content officer at the MIP Junior Conference 2015. The Keynote address is now online revealing some jaw-dropping details.

Mr. Davis revealed that the Writers’ Room went on for 3 successful months. The end result was Transformers Live Action Movies for the next 10 Years. He mentioned that Transformers 5 is on it’s way… AND also Transformers 6, 7 and 8. In fact, the whole idea of having a Writers’ Room is to generate stories till 2025.

Lionsgate and Hasbro Team for Animated My Little Pony Movie

Lionsgate and Hasbro are teaming up to prove that “friendship is magic” as the two companies are developing a big screen, animated My Little Pony movie. Meghan McCarthy, fan-favorite writer and producer for the “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” animated series, is penning the screenplay, which will be produced by Hasbro’s Allspark Pictures. Lionsgate will be distributing and marketing the film globally (except in China ). Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth will voice a new character in the film, which is Hasbro’s first animated feature.
