Joss Whedon, out stumping his upcoming downunder tour, told The Sunday Herald-Sun a little about his plans for the upcoming superhero blockbuster, "The Avengers".
King Browncoat didn't reveal anything very new, but he did state that in addition to Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, there will be other female characters in the movie - suggesting, possibly, that Gwyneth Paltrow may reprise Pepper Potts and/or that some of the other heroes' love interests (Betty Ross?) might play a part in the film.
"It is true that the movie is only going to have one female avenger", Whedon said of Johansson's part. "But she will not be the only female character".
