I disagree. There's nothing wrong with fairy tales. To get rid of the whole sub-genre would be akin to saying something like "stop making romantic-comedies" or something like that. What they actually need to do is stop making the same ones over and over and over again. There are tons more fairy tales out there that I've never even seen touched. And if they ARE going to remake a fairy tale, they need to do so in a creative way. So don't give up on the fairy tales. Just stop vainly making unimaginative rehashes of the same ones over and over again.
