His latest film The Last Airbender has been described as clunky and a disaster by some, and those are among the kinder reviews!
But M. Night Shyamalan says he has learned to turn a blind eye to his detractors, particularly the ones across the pond.
"I don't know what's going on with me and the critics in the United States. They've never got me and it's getting worse!" said the filmmaker.
Despite high praise for 1999's The Sixth Sense, which was nominated for six Academy Awards, follow-ups including The Village and Lady In The Water went down like lead balloons.
TNS: "Nightbitch might falter in the story department, but Amy Adams delivers a memorable performance in this funny black comedy."
TNS: "Jim Carrey just couldn't keep away from Sonic 3 and his role as Dr. Eggman -- even after he wanted to retire and have a quiet life."
TNS: "As each new entry struggles, Sony's Spider-Man Universe seems prepared to breathe its last after Kraven's first hunt."
Never got him? hahaha How about he gets bad reviews because he simply makes bad movies? He's crap and he's been going straight downhill for years now.
Maybe he should stop making excuses and start looking in the mirror about why his movies aren't blockbusters
I agree with M. Night. I haven't seen one bad movie from him. Haters gonna hate :(
