MS writes: Despite positive feedback from pre-screenings and overall good reviews (our review here), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World got its ass kicked by The Expendables at this weekend’s box office. Seems like the old action stars still got it with Sylvester Stallone’s Expendables pulling in a solid $35 million and opening #1 at this weekend’s box office, while Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim bombed by only bringing in $10 million and debuted at #5.
Lovers Anonymous Review: This series reminds us that every concept—even one as extraordinary as this—requires a great story to really connect.
TNS: "Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare takes its Twisted Childhood concept extremely seriously, for better and for worse."
TNS: Ke Huy Quan returned to the spotlight in Everything Everywhere All at Once, but he takes his first starring role in Love Hurts this year.
