So far, 2010 has not been a great year for comedy. We’ve had the often hilarious Hot Tub Time Machine, but outside that we haven’t really been gifted with anything special.
Hoping to change that, is the latest collaboration between director Adam McKay and actor Will Ferrell. The Other Guys is a action comedy buddy-cop film which has hit a quite insane level of hype since the much publicized Q&A panel at the recent San Diego Comic Con.
No denying I was impressed by the trailer and the Comic Con panel was quite the laughfest, but can the actual film follow suit?
TNS: "Nightbitch might falter in the story department, but Amy Adams delivers a memorable performance in this funny black comedy."
