On Screen Review: Predator 2

After a successful first encounter in 1987, and even greater success on the comic book stands, the highly anticipated sequel arrived in 1990 with hopes of further developing the Predator mythology.

This time we entered the war torn streets of Los Angeles where Lt. Mike Harrigan and his team are battling it out with the local drug lords.

A new Predator arrives and is picking off its victims one by one, but this doesn't go unnoticed by Harrigan who's keen senses tell him there is something strange going on.

Offering fans greater detail into the background of this menacing alien race, Predator 2 proved a worthy sequel with great references to what would become the Alien Versus Predator franchise.
