JoBlo:
Here's a project we've heard practically nothing about so far. Ralph Fiennes is shooting a modern day remake of William Shakespeare's CORIOLANUS, and for his directorial debut, he’s recruited Gerard Butler, Vanessa Redgrave and Brian Cox to star alongside him.
The original play follows an exiled general's march on Rome, and as you can see from these photos from the set, Fiennes has thrust the film into present day, though how exactly the story conforms to the original remains to be seen. I can't really imagine a general serving in Iraq marching on Washington DC. I am kind of getting a Colonel Kurtz APOCALYPSE NOW kind of vibe though, which I like.
Testament The Story of Moses Review: The series depicts Moses' journey from an outcast and murderer to a prophet and liberator of the Hebrews. It interweaves docudrama and interviews, to present a more humanly image of the prophet.
Rest In Peace Review: A man in debt disappears. Years later, he considers reconnecting with his family, but his previous life takes him by surprise.
