First Showing writes: "By now we already know that Matthew Vaughn stepped up to direct Fox's X-Men: First Class after Bryan Singer had to leave the director's chair to work on Jack the Giant Killer, a project that was already deep in pre-production and would conflict directly with Fox's timetable for X-Men. However, it looks like Jack the Giant Killer might not make it off the ground as soon as previously expected as Heat Vision reports that the project's start date has been pushed back to February 2011 rather than this summer. However, this isn't all that surprising since we haven't heard any casting announcements or other news for quite a while."
Nekki has announced that the forthcoming gun fu game, SPINE, will receive a movie adaptation to expand the franchise.

That sucks. I really wanted Singer to direct the next X-Men movie but he didn't for this film. Now it looks like he left for no reason.
