Coming Soon writes: "Actor Dennis Hopper died on Saturday at the age of 74 from complications of prostate cancer, his family said. He passed away at his home in the Los Angeles suburb of Venice at 8:15 a.m. PDT, surrounded by family and friends.
In a career spanning more than 50 years, Hopper received two Oscar nominations for co-writing Easy Rider (which he also directed and starred in) and for starring in the 1986 drama Hoosiers."
