Coming Soon writes: "Last week, ComingSoon.net spoke to The Sorcerer's Apprentice director Jon Turteltaub to get a progress report on National Treasure 3, which you can read here, and now here's a report from an interview ComingSoon.net did with the writers on the planned three-quel:
After wrapping work on Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and The Sorcerer's Apprentice, screenwriters Doug Miro and Carlos Bernard are neck-deep in figuring out the requisite Byzantine plot twists of National Treasure 3, and while they’re keeping the details as clandestine as the Book of Secrets Miro did offer a glimpse of the process behind their approach during a chat with ComingSoon.net."
TNS: "Nightbitch might falter in the story department, but Amy Adams delivers a memorable performance in this funny black comedy."
TNS: "Jim Carrey just couldn't keep away from Sonic 3 and his role as Dr. Eggman -- even after he wanted to retire and have a quiet life."
TNS: "As each new entry struggles, Sony's Spider-Man Universe seems prepared to breathe its last after Kraven's first hunt."
Personally I really like the first 2. They were just fun movies to watch, despite the ridiculous plots. I hope the third one is just as fun, but I wonder what they would be chasing after in a third movie?
