The Wrap writes: "Firefly" star Alan Tudyk has been cast in "Transformers 3," Paramount Pictures confirmed to TheWrap.
The studio is currently keeping Tudyk's role in the sequel under wraps, as well as the film's general plot.
Tudyk joins series newcomers John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and Patrick Dempsey as the latest addition to the human ensemble."
This is the only reason I'm excited for this film now. This guy's a great actor, but so underrated. He was brilliant in Firefly and Serenity, and hilarious as Steve the Pirate in Dodge Ball. I can't wait to see him do more. Hopefully his inclusion means a better focus on the content and acting this go around.
I agree, hopefully with him on board, and a decent script, this movie can be okay again.
Sweet! I love Alan Tudyk. I agree he is underrated by everyone.
He is by far my favorite actor.
He needs more roles, hopefully he has a large role in TF3 and it boosts him up a little.
Now if we can just get some news on the script and what the story will be like. Maybe that was Bay's problem last time. He was too secretive with the story. Maybe if it had leaked and some fan feedback could have been garnered, he wouldn't have made such a mess of things.
