CBS News writes: "Michael Douglas says he will not sign a petition in support of director Roman Polanski, who is under house arrest in Switzerland in connection with a 33-year-old sex scandal".
Roman Polanski’s adaptation of the Yasmina Reza play is a rollercoaster ride through the emotions as four people who clearly hate each other make a pitiful attempt at peace. Brilliant performances and masterful direction make this an excellent commentary on the frail thread of manners and norms that holds society together.
Hollywood Reporter: Los Angeles County prosecutors have met with a British actress who claims she was sexually abused by director Roman Polanski in his Paris apartment when she was 16 -- years before she appeared in one of his movies.
Yahoo Movies: Superior Court Judge Peter Espinoza, turning down a request from Polanski's lawyers to unseal transcripts, said there was only one circumstance in which the material would become public. That would be if Polanski returns to the United States for a hearing and the retired prosecutor, Roger Gunson, is unavailable to testify in person.
I really want this guy put away. I would love to see the testimony but the coward is probably never going to come back. I just couldn't imagine working with him after all of this mess, but he's still making movies!
