McDreamy is going to fight robots. A couple of days ago it was rumored that actors Jamie Kennedy and Patrick Dempsey would be part of the new cast of Michael Bay's Transformers 3, but we didn't report on it at the time. Variety has now confirmed that Patrick Dempsey has joined the cast and will start shooting this summer. Not much is known about his character, but Dempsey did say in the original interview that he will "play a character who is far more 'dark' than others."
