After a successful run on Netflix and a few cameos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Man With No Fear gets his own MCU series in Daredevil: Born Again. The series was originally set to be tonally different from the grim and gritty Netflix show, but the original showrunners were let go after completing six episodes. Marvel brought in Dario Scardapane, a producer and writer on The Punisher, for a course correction. The result was a show that was brilliant at times and disjointed at others.
RPadTV host Raymond Padilla is joined by videogame industry veterans Paul Semel and Marcus Beer to discuss Daredevil: Born Again Season 1. The three will discuss what they liked and didn’t like about the series, including the performances of leads Charlie Cox (Daredevil / Matt Murdock) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Kingpin / Wilson Fisk), their favorite episodes, their favorite supporting characters, whether having two creative teams hurt the series, the adaptation of Muse, what they expect from Season 2, and more.
