Netflix subscribers are beginning to stand up and take notice of The Platform, a Spanish horror-thriller that couldn't be more timely.
It wasn't bad; plot holes aside. It was reminiscent of Cube and, in some ways, Oldboy, so it wasn't particularly special, but the message on social commentary was what gives it staying power. Not everyone will agree with the ending, of course, but it does keep you entertained.
Really enjoyed it. Found it very thought-provoking. Good blend of Cube-esque intrigue and political social commentary.
Haven't checked it yet.
