This was the best film of the new trilogy. Whomever wrote this article probably never watched Star Wars until 2015.

Star Wars in general is over-rated trash. LOTR is the G.o.a.t.

None of these sequels have been good. They were all rehashes of the OT done worse.

The characters are bland planks of wood. They’re about as likeable as a lump of coal.

It seems all it takes to satisfy people is explosions and poorly choreographed fights. No one seems to care about good characterization anymore. If there’s explosions that’s enough.

None of these new people hold anywhere near the same amount of development as any of the characters pre Disney.

Finn does nothing but yell Rey.

Rey is like playing a game on easy mode with all the cheat codes turned on. She’s never in any danger. She’s boring. Plus JJ said in an interview he intentionally made her perfect. JJ. That’s not why people like characters. You can’t relate to perfect.

These characters are lame. Such wasted potential. Great actors with garbage writing.

Rise of Skywalker fell flat on its face because Last Jedi tripped it. How is it that no one realizes the absolute damage of a middle film in a trilogy can have if it utterly destroys most prior plot setups because the director did whatever he wanted? Don't get me wrong, I liked Rise of Skywalker, but on a technical level it's a horrible movie, not even JJ likes it.
