The Terminator is a well established franchise but it is being beaten by an unheard of manga adaptation called Alita: Battle Angel proving that people crave originality. Terminator: Dark Fate is not a bad movie, as a matter of fact it is being praised as the best Terminator movie since T2, but unfortunately it is …
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Not surprised.
Issues with this article:
"The new Captain America is rumoured to be a battle harden [sic] butch lesbian,"
Even in the linked discourse, it's clear that is not a rumor. It's something Anthony Mackie said and people blew out of proportion. That's not a rumor. That's someone talking about their desire for a more diverse Captain America.
"Terminator: Dark Fate remained somewhat faithful to its source material"
No. Killing one of the main characters at the beginning for no reason and doing a complete retread of Judgment Day's story, just with an all-female protagonist cast, is not what I would call faithful to the source material.
"Fans are ready for fresh content and Alita: Battle Angel is a perfect example of that."
How can you say Alita is fresh content when you discuss later how it is based on a manga?
"Alita box office numbers may appear better but Terminator: Dark Fate is another masterfully done film by James Cameron."
Alita was produced by James Cameron, not directed. It was directed by Robert Rodriguez. Same goes for Terminator: Dark Fate. It was produced by James Cameron. It was directed by Tim Miller. I'm not sure why this article is making it seem like he directed both of these and made them such perfect films due to his touch. This is just like how uninformed people claim The Nightmare Before Christmas is the best film Tim Burton ever "directed," unaware that it was only produced by him and directed by Henry Selick.
Disclaimer: I saw and loved both Alita and the new Terminator. I'm not hating on them at all. What I'm hating on is the apparent lack of integrity that this outlet has. And that awful font, good Lord. Change that immediately. It's like my eyes are being held at gunpoint.
A fool and his money will soon be parted.
I could tell you if I was going it would be for Terminator
