best television ending of all-time

every critic would beg to differ.

Personally thought the ending was absolute garbage. I was a big fan of the show, but not a fanboy like some people so I didn't watch the finale through rose-tinted glasses.

The ending amounted to the following: "and they all died happily ever after." There were so many unanswered questions left open, so it was a terrible ending

Imalwaysright1680d ago

Aren't you a critic? Anyway the ending that was "perfection" was nothing more than the writers getting themselves into a corner and not having a way to get out of it. It was a piss poor ending that only idiots will think it was great.

it's underrated but not the best. but not ont he level of that travesty game of thrones. oh man.

Only ever got to the end of Season 2. Bloody boring

nucky641680d ago

first 2 seasons were the best - the rest became a real slog of a watch.

Breaking bad perfectly closed the series but to be fair it wasn't an overly complex story. It didn't have a nail biting mystery or a mountain of questions that people were waiting to get the answer to. Lost wasn't perfect but for the scale and ambitiousness of the story there no way to end it in a satisfying way.

jeromeface1680d ago

As soon as they started trying to explain the mystery it "lost" its magic.

really? it was kinda part of my first theory when thinking about the overall ending.. thought it was a bit cheap to be honest.
