Agreed, I couldn't believe that was Ackbar, I'd expect at least one or two scenes with him properly in, he's a better character than half of the ones they used in that movie. Still seems fitting they offed him that way, the whole Disney era of Star Wars could be summed up with "It's a trap" for the big Star Wars fans who see people like him as an iconic character.
The Last Jedi effectively destroyed the old/original saga, which I can't help but believe that was Kathleen Kennedy and Rian Johnson's intent. Out with the old, in with the new. Unfortunately, the new is pure shit.
