Why Bucky Barnes Deserves To Be Captain America Instead

.Comic Book Lore
The mantle isn't passed over in the same way as the comics. Steve wasn't killed in the movies so the point on following the comics doesn't really work

.All The Markings Of A Hero
Feel like he's not mentally in the space to be captain America. Sam certainly embodies the same principles as CA, moreso than Bucky.

.“I’m With You Till the End of the Line.”
"That bond and Steve’s loyalty to Bucky was a key factor in the chaos during Captain America: Civil War. So it doesn’t really make sense for Steve to skip over Bucky when passing on his legacy and shield."
I agree on this one. I honestly think they were planning on Bucky being the next cap then changed their minds and switched to Sam.

.Super Soldier
Was thinking this as well but I guess just because the first CA was a super soldier, doesn't mean the successor does??

Imo, based on the principles of the characters, Sam is the better choice to be CA in the MCU. Though I'm not sure he could carry a movie by himself if they were to ever do one. Sam with Bucky though will be a great team up (think there's a show of this soon??) and is something I've wanted since civil war.
