Neocrisis - Does Netflix's Lost in Space reboot do justice to the original series (1965–1968) and the 1998 film? I watched the entire first season of Netflix's Lost in Space and I can easily say that the reboot is a fun, exhilarating, and refreshing take on the classic franchise. I’ll try to keep this review spoiler free for those who haven’t seen the new series yet.
The rebooted DC Universe kicks off with Creature Commandos on HBO/Max. Written by James Gunn, the series has many of the elements that made his Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad movies successful – an interesting team of misfits, strong comedy, stylish action, and a surprising amount of heart. However, Gunn also included many references and influences from nearly every decade of comic book history. RPadTV host Raymond Padilla is joined by videogame journalist Paul Semel to discuss, dissect, and review Creature Commandos.
How does an action movie like Alarum mess up its action scenes so much?
Ad Vitam Review: This movie 5 is a frustrating watch. It begins slowly, gets ludicrously silly, but never settles on a footing. Action is forgettable, the story feels like patched-together cliches from greater action movies and performances are lacklustre.
I thought it was awful after a few episodes, couldn't watch any more than that.
